1-Tokalo MDC Constituency By-Election Result Get Declared

Siaha; the 1st November,2019: Result of By-Election to 1-Tokalo MDC constituency was declared by Returning Officer Pu Bhupesh Chaudhary IAS in the forenoon of Today after vote counting was completed smoothly.

There were a total of 4 polling stations in 1-Tokalo MDC constituency and Counting was done in round-wise. In each round two Polling station was counted and counting of votes started at 9:00AM.

Total vote polled was 85.9%; that was 821 votes out of total 955 votes. Pu M.Laikaw (BJP) Secured 484 votes and Pu Chotha Hlychho(MNF) secured 329; and NOTA secured 08 votes.

Pu M.Laikaw(BJP) won the By-Election with comfortable margins of 155 votes; and Returning Officer Pu Bhupesh Chaudhary IAS declared him elected to the member of Mara Autonomous District council, and handed over Certificate of Election.
