Again in 2015, the name of Saiha town was reverted back into its original name Siaha town and subsequently  Saiha District was also changed into Siaha  District the folowing year 2016.

  8. Street announcement for public information  in case of some urgent and emergency matters. This practice was passed down from past experience and its relevance might not be as striking and vital as  past experience but it still matters. During MNF insurgency period,  Magistrate, at the behest of Indian Army  used to  proclaim curfew anytime and any day to hamper free movement of underground armies in civilians settlement areas and mingling freely with civilians to do their espionage activities. The only way to inform public immediately about proclamation of curfew was by Street announcement. It was quite obvious that Insurgents did not want general public to know curfew proclamation, whereas Indian army was in ever ready mode to unleash their brutalities to civilians curfew violators. In spite of the fear of underground Army’s ire looming large, I&PR staff still do their announcement works for the concerns of general public safety.
  9. Ever gear up for Government’s  PR-ing works.
