Ah&Vety Office, Siaha Carried Out Vaccination Drives On Domestic Animals

Siaha; the 1st November,2019: Government of India aims at controlling FMD (foot and mouth disease) by the year 2025 and eventually eradicated completely by the year 2030, by carrying out vaccination drives all over across the country.

In pursuance of and in line with GoI’s Programme, AH&VETY Office, Siaha too carried out vaccination drives across the district for the whole two long months; September & October,2019, and the statistical Data of vaccinated Domestic Animals were furnished here below:

1. Pig—– 7171
2. Buffalo—–342
3. Mithun—- 717
4. Hhill cattle—–173
5.Dairy cattle—– 183
6. Goat —–:988
7.Sheep —– 67

A total head count of 9644 domestic animals were successfully vaccinated.
