DDMA DELIBERATES UPON SIAHA DISTRICT PREPAREDNESS FOR COMING MONSOON

Siaha; April 16, 2021 – District Disaster Management Authority held a meeting to mull over the district’s preparedness for the coming monsoon, here at Siaha, today.

The meeting was chaired by Shri. Kesavan R, IAS, Chairman DDMA, and DC Siaha district. The meeting deliberated upon the disasters and various Difficulties the onsetting Monsoon might bring upon, and mulled over preventive and mitigatory measures to be adopted.

DCSO informed the meeting that sufficient quantities of rice to last through Monsoon season were already stocked in all the CS&CA Godowns located at those villages which were prone to get cut off from district headquarter due to monsoon induced landslides or other factors.
