AFRICAN SWINE FEVER INFECTED PIGS CULLS AT SIAHA

Siaha; the 17th April 2021 – Under the Supervision of Dr.Shahlu Khaila, DVO, AH& Vety Department, Siaha culled 4 pigs infected with ASF by gunshot, and buried them, along with disinfectant, in a 10feet deep dug out pit, at the premises of AH&Vety farm, here at Siaha, today.

These 4 pigs were caught from T.Lallawmtluanga, Siaha Vaihpi-I, on 26th March 2021, and blood samples taken were sent to ICAR-NIHSAD, Bhopal for Confirmatory Diagnosis, after CFS, PRRS, and ASF test were already done at District Veterinary Hospital, Siaha.
