DISTRICT WATER AND SANITATION MISSION(DWSM) HELD MEETING

Siaha, the 22nd October,2020 :
Under the chairmanship of Shri. Kesavan R, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Siaha District, District Water and Sanitation Mission held a meeting to deliberate upon District Action Plan on Jal Jevaan Mission,2019-2023 in the office chamber of DC, here in Siaha, today.

Jal Jeevan Mission, 2019-2023 for Siaha District scheme aims at providing clean drinking water to every households including Schools, Anganwadi,Community Hall, Health Sub-Centre, etc within Siaha district by Installing Functional Household Tap Connection (FHTC) by 2023.

District Water and Sanitation Mission in its meeting held on the 16th Sept,2020 had already approved District Action Plan for 2020-2021, and in today’s meeting DAP for the year 2021-2022 & 2022-2023 are also duly approved.

During 2021-2022, 3047 households are targetted to provide with FHTC and in the subsequent year 2022-2023, 1338 households are targetted alongwith all the left out households totalling 361 in numbers are to be provided with FHTC.
