E/ Roll Observer Shri J.P. Agrawal convenes a Meeting at Siaha

Siaha; January ni 10: E/Roll observer for Lawngtlai and Siaha District Shri. J.P. Agrawal convened a meeting, here at Siaha.

Speaking at the meeting Shri.J P. Agrawal pointed out that pure and correct E/Roll preparation is the first and most important step towards achieving clean, transparent, inclusive Election. Therefore he said “i requested each and every Political parties and NGOs to continue lending your support and cooperation to the Concern officials”. He also thanked NGOs and Polotical parties for all the supports and cooperations they had rendered till date to the Government’s officials.

According to Draft Roll published on 16.12.2019, there was a total of 39661 voters in the whole district of Siaha, Comprising
21418 voters under
39-Siaha(ST) A/C with male voters 10246 and female voters 11172, and a total voters of 18243 under
40-Palak(ST) A/C with male voters 19320 and female voters 20341.
Basing 1/1/2020 as qualifying date, Special Summary Revision is still going on and Final E/Roll will be published on 7/2/2020.

Today’s meeting was attended by DEO & DC Shri. Pu Bhupesh Chaudhary IAS , Shri.Malsawmtluanga,ERO & Addl.DC and Shri. H.Zonunmawia EO alongwith representatives of various NGOs and Political Parties.
