Oral Polio Vaccine drives kick starts at Siaha

Siaha; the 21st January,2020:
In consonance with other districts of Mizoram, OP Vaccine drives for Siaha district get started this morning,at 7:00Am. As a gesture of unflinching support to and appreciation of the OPV drives, top notch officials of Siaha district attended the kick starting programme of OPV in their numbers, at District Playground. Shri. N.Zakhai CEM, MADC and Shri. Bhupesh Chaudhary IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Siaha also administered OPV drops to the children as a mark of the kick start of OPV drives.

OPV is for children of age below 5yrs and OPV drops administering will be carried out at 87 booths across the whole district under the overall supervision Dr.K.Rakhu DTO and Smt.Mary Vanlalpeki DPM along with 20 IPPI Supervisors.
