Siaha DC Reaps ₹ 55 Lacs from GAIL’s CSR Kitty for Siaha District

Siaha; the 14th November,2019: Deputy Commissioner of Siaha District, Pu Bhupesh Chaudhary IAS and his subordinate officers have written to many Giant Corporate Bussiness Houses of India; requesting them to fund , from their CSR undertakings, various Socio-economic developments plans prepared by DC himself and his subordinate officers; which especially focused on Primary Health, Education,Woman Empowerment, etc.

Pu Bhupesh’s Prayer to Corporate Bussiness Houses has started yielding a fruitful result and gauging from the positive responds of other Corporate Houses. Siaha District might receive the Windfall of CSR in the near future.
MoU was signed between Gas Authority of India Limited(GAIL), Extramarks Foundation and Deputy Commissioner Siaha at GAIL Headquarters, New Delhi Yesterday, to provide a fully featured Ambulance and Smart Classrooms to Siaha District,under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.

Under this agreement GAIL shall provide 35 lacs for emergency medical services to Siaha district through Globally renowned Pharmaceutical and biotechbology company -Wockhardt Limited. It was also agreed that GAIL shall provide Rs.20 lacs for 12 smart classrooms for various Government Schools of Siaha District to improve the learning outcomes by engaging Educational technology company called Extramarks foundation.

The MoU was signed by Bhupesh Chaudhary DC Siaha, Mr Anoop Gupta, Executive Director (CSR) GAIL and Mr Alok Sinha Vice President Extramarks Foundation.
