SIAHA MEDICAL TEAM KICK STARTS CLUSTER OPERATION TO CONTAIN COMMUNITY SPREAD OF COVID-19 VIRUS

Siaha, the 6th May 2021:
Siaha Medical Team kicked off the Covid-19 Cluster Operation drive to contain the Covid-19 community spread and to prevent its further spread, here at Siaha, today.
Covid-19 RAgT Random Test was carried out at Siaha town last Monday (3/5/2021), in which 30 Covid-19 +ve cases were detected, and the maximum number of +Ve cases were detected at College Vaih locality and New Colony. Owing to this, Siaha Town had been declared as Containment Zone by Deputy Commissioner on the 3rd May,202I itself, and it appeared that community Spread had taken place in Siaha Town.
To combat this crisis, Siaha Medical team strategized cluster operation, wherein Medical Team will be based their round-the-clock operation at community Halls located at the aforesaid 2 localities where Covid-19 +ve cases were detected most and will remain there till the latest Covid-19 +ve individual belonging to these particular localities get discharged from CCC, Siaha, and move on to the other localities where Covid-19 +ve cases were detected in a lesser number.
It is expected that this unprecedented initiative by Medical Team will break the chain of Covid-19 infection in days to come.
