TRAINING ON AFRICAN SWINE FEVER(ASF) HELD AT LAKI VILLAGE

Siaha; the 16th October,2020:
Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Office,Siaha organized Training on African Swine Fever at Laki Village, and the training was imparted by Dr.Lalthansanga Khiangte,VO, Vetinary Dispensary,Tipa to the Village Level Task Force of Laki Village.

Shri.Lalhmingliana,SDO(C) & BDO, Tipa RD Block also graced the training session and spoke to the trainees. He requested them to keep a strict vigil over Indo-Myanmar Border passage; so that no influx of ASF infected pigs from Myanmar took place and vitiated our ASF Free zone status.

After ASF Training at Laki Village got over, Training officials visited a nearby village called Khopai and inspected a pig farm thereof; run by Self Help Group of Khopai village and administered Classical Swine Fever Vaccine to all the pigs as well.
